The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
